MAJORS were on my speakers the whole week, and I kept going back to their amazing new single “Bullet on a String” more than I expected. The track has that punchy rock energy that instantly wakes up a playlist, but it also carries a lot of heart behind the noise. The guitars hit really hard. The drums keep everything moving and the whole thing sounds like a band completely locked in together.
Justin’s vocals are my favorite part of the song. His voice has a strong tone that sticks in your head especially in the chorus. Speaking of that chorus, it’s an amazing one. I found myself replaying it while driving around at night with the windows down. The atmosphere of this song is amazing. I really liked how the lyrics and melodies mesh together. The song carries this rush of confidence and momentum, it’s like one of those rare days where everything somehow goes right for once. You can hear the passion behind the performance and the production helps everything connect without sounding too polished.
The music video was directed really well and matched the energy of the track perfectly. By the end of the week, this band earned a spot on my favorite bands list. This track was carefully crafted by musicians who love making music and that made me keep coming back to it. It’s definitely one of the best records we’ve heard this year!
