Jorge Natalin – Stitch Me Up (Remix Version) / with Avid Beats

I played this one twice before even thinking about writing anything. The first run just kind of hit me straight on, the second time I started noticing how much was going on underneath. The remix version of “Stitch Me Up” by Jorge Natalin feat. Avid Beats leans fully into that drum and bass direction, but it doesn’t feel like a random switch. It actually fits the song in a way I didn’t expect. The beat comes in fast and steady and it keeps pushing forward without letting things drag. There’s always something moving. Little details in the background, shifts in the rhythm and small touches that keep your ears busy.

The vocals sit right in the middle of all that motion. They’re not overworked or overdone, just clear and direct. I like that they didn’t try to reshape them too much for the remix. There’s still that raw edge in the delivery, and it works well against the faster tempo.

I really like the way the melody holds everything together. Even with the heavier beat and all the layers, you can still latch onto it pretty easily. I caught myself replaying some parts in my head later, which doesn’t always happen with remixes like this.

The production is creative and nothing is messy or out of place. The mix gives each element room without making it feel empty which is harder to pull off than it sounds. This is one of those remixes that actually adds something instead of just changing the style. I didn’t feel like I was listening to a rework for the sake of it. Honestly, I’ll probably go back to this version more than the original.
