I always look forward to writing about The New Citizen Kane and this release reminded me why. After a really fun 2025 and a strong start to this year, “Well, Damn! Here You Are” lands like another confident step forward. It was made for late nights, moving lights and that moment when you realize you’ve hit play again without thinking twice.
The EP leans into disco energy in an amazing way. The title track keeps things moving with a steady groove, sharp synth work and a hook that stays with you. There’s a clear story running through it, built around messy feelings and bad timing, but it never drags things down. The rhythm carries the mood and keeps it light enough to enjoy without overthinking it.
This EP is a great experience from start to finish. I like how creative it sounds across all the tracks. Nothing blends together or feels recycled. Each song brings a new idea. a different angle or a slight shift in mood. while still sounding connected. The production is carefully shaped and you can hear the effort put into keeping things fresh and unique.
Honestly, this artist is one of my favorites. I always enjoy writing about his music and this EP is another reminder of why I keep coming back. I really loved this one and I’m already looking forward to whatever he shares next. I’ll definitely be following and writing about his future releases too.
