Listening to “BRUTE FORCE” by Bad Boy Butch Batson is like opening a door back to the kind of rock records I used to play loud years ago. There’s something familiar here, but it doesn’t feel stuck in the past. The album carries a rough edge with melodies that stick around and sudden shifts that keep things moving in interesting ways.
The sound is handled with real care. The production and mixing are sharp. but not overly clean. It keeps that rough feel. almost like he’s right there in the room with a band set up behind him just playing. That closeness makes the whole album easier to connect with. The instruments work well together and stay engaging without trying too hard to impress.
Batson’s performance is full of energy and you can hear that he put the same effort into every track. This doesn’t feel like an album built around one strong song with filler around it. Each track holds its own. which made the full listen really enjoyable. His voice fits the music well and the lyrics feel thought-out rather than thrown together. I honestly wanted to go back and listen again, track by track. This album left me excited and curious and I’d love to dig deeper into it if you feel the same way. Let me know in the comments below!
