Aliénore – Mirage

Aliénore’s new EP “Mirage” is like stepping into a quiet world she built just for you, one track at a time. It opens with “Solace, an Incantation” a gentle piece that moves like a slow breath. The vocals feel close and the whole thing sets a calm but slightly eerie tone that pulls you in right away.

“Lilith” follows with a soft and shadowy energy. The production is smart and her haunting vocals floats over the instrumental in a smooth way. Then “In the Mirror’s Surface” brings a wider atmosphere and it’s like looking through fogged glass. The song moves slowly and the blend of sounds feels very thoughtfully put together.

My favorite here is “Chimaera”. There’s something dreamy in the way the track moves and the instrumental design is incredibly satisfying. It just works. The EP closes with the title track “Mirage” which ties everything together with a steady balance of melodies and mood. It’s a calm but powerful finish.

I really love Aliénore’s voice and the world she creates with it. Her melodies stay with you and the mood of this EP is something I kept thinking about long after it ended. I’ll definitely be following what she does next.
