This is the first track I’ve heard from this band and it blew me away. Tidal End’s new single “worth it!” arrives with a spark that’s hard to ignore. The band leans into a bright mix of pop and rock which gives the track a lively push that is easy to fall into. Even though the theme touches on a relationship that left more questions than comfort, the band keeps the mood upbeat and playful, letting the weight of the lyrics sit beneath a driving and colourful instrumentation.
The guitars are amazing and the rhythm section keeps everything tight without feeling stiff. The chorus is powerful and hits with a burst of life. The vocal lines are catchy and the way they sit in the mix shows how much care the band puts into their sound, even while keeping things unexpected. For a song written in such a short time, it’s surprisingly confident and polished.
This amazing band seems refreshed here, bringing a style that blends modern pop-rock with touches of nostalgia in a way that is clean and unique. I just discovered this band recently, and this single makes me glad I did. I love the energy they bring and I’m sure this won’t be the last time I write about them. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on what they do next year.
