Violet Love – Destined to Fail

Violet Love’s new EP “Destined to Fail” feels like stepping into someone’s private world, where every sound and lyric has a pulse of its own. The opening track, “Serpent” immediately sets the tone, it’s dark, hypnotic and a bit chilling in the best way. The vocals stick with you long after the song ends, echoing somewhere in the back of your mind.

Then comes “Apple” which feels like two sides of the same emotion. The first half builds with great guitars and raw emotional vocals and just when you think it’s done, it opens up into a stunning instrumental part that feels freeing and cinematic. “Artist” is the heart of the EP, it’s gentle at first with acoustic guitar and quiet emotion, then slowly grows into something powerful without losing its soft edge.

What I love about new EP is how real it feels. The production is polished but never overdone and every detail sounds planned. Violet Love’s voice carries so much feeling and the whole project feels dark but strangely comforting. I really love how he put his soul into this EP. It’s the kind of release you can listen to alone at night and feel completely understood.
