Concrete Disco – As the Crow Flies

Concrete Disco’s new album “As the Crow Flies” is a rush of sound that keeps shifting and surprising you with every track. The Bristol trio mixes electronic textures with live energy and you can feel that passion running through the whole record. Their tracks never feel like they’re stuck in one lane, one moment you’re pulled into heavy grooves with driving bass, the next you’re floating in dreamy melodies layered with clever production touches.

The variety here is what makes it so fun to listen to. Tracks like “Brambles” and “Rebirth” show how they can move between catchy rhythms and wide cinematic atmospheres without losing focus. The production is sharp and packed with detail, but it never feels messy. You can tell a lot of care went into balancing everything so that each part has its place. That’s not easy to do but Concrete Disco manages to make it sound natural.

For me, this album feels alive, it’s colorful, full of movement and brimming with moments that make you want to hit replay. I honestly enjoyed it right through to the end and I know I’ll keep coming back to it. It’s one of those records that feels exciting every time you press play.
