I really loved the instrumentation here, the piano leads the way, giving the song a warm yet haunting character while the quiet layers of harmony wrap around it perfectly.
As someone who loves Dolly’s original, I was impressed by how this band managed to keep its soul alive while offering something entirely new. This cover feels rich, emotional and deeply respectful. For me, it was a beautiful experience from start to finish and I loved every second of it.
