This duo has a way of catching your ear immediately and they’ve done it again here. The song feels nostalgic without being stuck in the past, blending warm 80s-style synths with modern power-pop energy. Kevin Rieth’s vocals are warm and captivating and delivering lyrics that explore healing after heartbreak with a real sense of vulnerability. The chorus is incredibly catchy and the instrumental layers from fuzzed-out guitars to a delicate vibraphone are thoughtfully crafted and full of personality. It’s the kind of track that makes you hit repeat without thinking.
The production feels DIY in the best way. It’s raw, intimate and confident. I’ve always loved how LunaRover’s music is both polished and emotionally real.
