Canary Complex just landed on my radar with “A Whisper of Spring” and I’m so glad he did. Released only three days ago, this album offers a truly haunting and unique experience. The atmosphere feels cinematic and dreamlike, while the vocals are both captivating and powerful. Each of the eight tracks seems to leave an even stronger impression than the last, drawing you deeper into his imaginative world.
The instrumentals are polished and full of characters, blending nostalgic 90s visual kei with touches of French chanson and progressive rock. His melodies are haunting and distinctive and his lyrics feel honest, original, and meaningful. The production is professional and thoughtfully crafted from beginning to end. Honestly, I loved every second of this album. It’s rare to find a record that feels this immersive and I can’t wait to see where Canary Complex’s journey will take him next.
