Good morning everyone! Let’s start this cloudy day with the new album “Thinking Heart” by Andrea Longato, which presents a compelling fusion of jazz elements alongside eclectic musical styles that demonstrate both his creative brilliance and his refined artistic skills. Six original compositions across the album showcase various musical moods through inspiration drawn from Bill Frisell and Wayne Krantz and Daniel Lanois. Each musical piece delivers its own distinctive listening journey through a unified emotional depth.
First on the album we find “Daisies” which merges post-rock elements with ambient soundscapes and features a poignant solo. Throughout “Sure Thing” the artist creates a positive blend of musical dissonance with emotive instruments while “Mona Lisa Kite” delivers a beautiful listening experience that will leave you on constant repeat. It is my favorite track. “Wishlist” is a moody ballad that blends classical elements with a nice jazz touch. “Scattered” and “Chief” close the album in the most perfect way possible.
Andrea’s meticulous craftsmanship shines up throughout the album because he composed all the music and handled production and mixing and mastering himself. The result is a polished, immersive experience.
If you’re looking for something gentle and relaxing to soothe your soul, this new record is a perfect choice. Andrea’s creativity and skills make this album a journey that listeners should not miss. Honestly, this album is peaceful and you’ll love to replay it over and over again. Give it a chance, you will not be disappointed.
