Intercontinen7al – World Over

With their debut EP “World Over”, INTERCONTINEN7AL has made a groundbreaking musical statement that breaks new ground in global collaboration. Over 30 musicians from 15 countries make up this Colorado based band, which has written history by recording music instrumentation on all seven continents, including Antarctica. This EP, over four years in the making is a vibrant display of the band’s many influences, from Pearl Jam to Prince, Tool, and The Beatles.

What I really love about this EP is its variety, it includes progressive rock, Latin, acoustic, alternative and hard rock. The standout track “Night Shift” opens with a beautiful guitar intro recorded in Antarctica, a nod to the EP’s innovative spirit. The careful attention to the smallest details in every song, rich instrumentals, captivating melodies and beautifully written lyrics offer you a great listening experience. The EP shows that it’s possible for musical diversity to thrive when artists come together on a global scale.

This EP was an outstanding thing to listen to. “World Over” is a masterpiece from its catchy vocals to its rich instrumentals. Each element shines perfectly and the songs are polished and engaging. I replayed it all day long, caught in its beauty and depth. This EP is more than music, it’s a celebration of the humanity’s shared creativity. Bravo, INTERCONTINEN7AL!
