The All’s Eye Trio’s debut single “West Hill Road” is an exhilarating introduction to this newly formed supergroup. The track is a seamless blend of jam band psychedelia and intricate musicianship, taking listeners on a seven minute journey. Ari Joshua’s expressive guitar melodies dance fluidly throughout the arrangement while Kris Yunker’s shimmering keys exude brightness and charm, leading the way. The piece is anchored by Ben Atkind’s drumming, precise and dynamic, with an infectious groove that keeps the energy flowing from beginning to end. Kris and Ben were previously members of the indie band GOOSE.
This single was recorded during an intensive session in Connecticut, which is part of a larger volume of work the trio will be releasing over the next six months through Music Factory Record. The trio draws on their backgrounds in rock, jazz and funk to create a sound that’s fresh and timeless. “West Hill Road” is for fans of lively and unique music.
I really love this track, it’s rich, creative and enjoyable. The interplay between the instruments is mesmerizing and the production is polished and imaginative. I didn’t get to see their East Coast tour in November, but I’m so excited to see The All’s Eye Trio bring this electrifying energy to the stage in future tours. I can’t wait to hear what this band has in store next!
