“Electronic Spirit” the first album of Truth Lamp is an interesting journey through the electronic music styles. This album is a masterpiece of creativity and production with 12 tracks that are well produced in the genres of EDM, Future Bass, and Techno. Truth Lamp is the moniker of Jamie Shavdia, a psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher and the music on the album reflects both aspects of his personality.
From the driving rhythms of “Awakening” to the reflective “Intelligence” which delves into AI and global consciousness, each track differs from the others and offers a fresh and unique experience. “Sands of Time” another one of them, has that timeless feel that makes you keep coming back to the track. Jamie is a talented multi-instrumentalist and his skills shine here and the mixing and mastering are great and make the production sound polished and professional.
“Electronic Spirit” is a masterpiece for fans of Aphex Twin, Leftfield or Orbital. As a fan of Truth Lamp’s previous singles, it is great to see such growth and depth in this album. Its cinematic soundscapes and dynamic arrangements made me want to experience this music live. All in all, it can be said that Truth Lamp is a promising name in the electronic music industry.
