LITTLE WASTERS – I Want You (For Someone)

Today’s anthem is from England and exactly from Camden Town. The indie rock band Little Wasters just landed on my radar this week with their new single “I Want You (For Someone)” which is a high-energy and emotional song about rejection and the desire for acceptance. The band’s identity and intensity are clearly conveyed in this song and the listener gets to experience the band’s creativity and the way they produce songs that are both powerful and catchy.

The track is a perfect mix of aggressive guitars and memorable choruses that make the song incredibly enjoyable and create a foot-stomping energy. The lyrics are heartfelt and beautifully written and you can easily relate to them as the song asks ‘Could that someone just be me?’. The production is very polished and the mixing is excellent and shows this band’s professional touch. The melodies here are great and the instrumentals are great accompaniments to the great vocals.

The lead vocalist’s performance is on another level, it’s rich, dynamic and full of passion. Combined with the band’s impressive musical skills, the result is a beautifully atmospheric track with a powerful and infectious chorus that sticks with you long after the song ends. Little Wasters are quickly proving themselves a force to be reckoned with and with this song, they’ve definitely made a fan out of me. I can’t wait to hear what they bring us next!
