Tinvís – Double Blind

Tinvís makes a stunning debut with their single “Double Blind” released under Mama Mañana Records. This is the first taste of their upcoming album “Texnia” which is expected to be released in summer of 2025. Led by Joel Daniel and with Max Hart, Eric Gardener, and notable musicians like Jon Natchez and Luke Reynolds, Tinvís creates a sound that is both nostalgic and fresh.

The track opens with atmospheric synth strings and haunting piano chords, creating a dark and melancholic tone. The haunting melodies are complemented by driving drums while the rest of the instruments create a dense background. The lyrics are deep and Joel Daniel’s soulful voice and the lyrics take the listener into the song’s unique and personal space.

The polished production ensures that every element shines perfectly, from the captivating instrumental work to the memorable vocal performance. The dark and poetic lyrics linger long after the track ends, and the feeling of the song doesn’t fade once the song is over, which makes it feel so of the early 2000s indie rock, but also sound fresh and modern.

Honestly, this song is one of the best records I’ve heard recently and I really love it. The piano, the lyrics and Joel’s deep voice make the song very touching and memorable. Tinvís has left a strong impression and I can’t wait to see how his career unfolds in the coming months.
