Derbyshire folk-punk band 5 Hills Out has finally dropped their debut album “Dystopia Bazaar“ and it’s well worth the wait. The 10-track collection is packed with energy, emotion and meaning. The tracks are a powerful mix of hope, pain, rebellion and history, set against the backdrop of both personal and social unrest.
The band’s songwriting is sharp and passionate, crafting catchy and memorable melodies with lyrics that strike deep. The vocals are powerful and have a raw intensity that beautifully complements the polished instrumentals. The production and mixing are excellent and every instrument is given a place to shine without overwhelming the vocals. There’s a lot to enjoy from the intricate folk elements to the driving punk energy.
I think it’s hard to pick a favorite track, the true magic of this album comes when you listen to it as a complete experience. This album feels like a journey and I can’t wait to share it with the world. I’m already excited for what this band will bring next!
