Leeds-based band Tillerman just landed on my radar with their new single “The Son Must Follow The Moon” which is an absolute gem. From the very first note, the production and mixing stand out, offering a polished fresh sound. The guitar work is beautifully done, creating a perfect balance with the gentle beat of the drums. However, the true highlight of the song is the vocals. Jon, the lead vocalist has one of the richest and most captivating voices I’ve ever heard. His performance is so engaging that you’ll find yourself rewinding just to hear it again.
This is a feel-good track, ideal for a relaxing drive or a chilled-out day at home. It’s catchy in the best way and I couldn’t help but have it on repeat all morning. The band’s style and skills are impressive and they deserve more attention for their work. I’m really looking forward to what this band releases next!
