I recently had the pleasure of diving into Joe Sal’s latest album Out of the Box and I have to say, it’s a real gem. From the very first track you can feel the energy and passion Joe brings to his music. This self-produced album is a beautiful blend of alternative rock and a variety of other influences making it one of the most refreshing records I’ve heard in a while.
Joe Sal, for those who might not know, hails from Milan, Italy. He used to front the hard rock trio KickStart and the prog rock project Alex Carpani Band, but now he’s stepping out on his own and the result is nothing short of spectacular. The album features singles he’s released over the past six years, plus some new tracks all coming together to showcase his journey and growth as an artist.
One thing that really stands out is the recording quality, it’s unique and draws you in. Joe’s voice is rich and powerful and his performances on these tracks are simply unforgettable. His vocal abilities are on another level and you can hear the emotion and dedication in every note.
