Thee Mighty Saint Pancras’s new single “Lucky Jim,” is a compelling blend of garage and classic rock with a modern twist. The production is polished and the instrumentation is simply incredible. The guitars by Peter roar with raw energy while Richardson’s drums are hard-hitting and bold. Ford’s vocals are powerful and add a unique edge and Matt’s bass lines are amazing too.
The lyrics are original and well written weaving a unique atmosphere that will draw you to this band’s distinctive world. There’s a captivating harmony amid the rawness with amazing melodies weaving through the aggressive exterior. ABOUT THE BAND:
Thee Mighty Saint Pancras are a 4-piece rock punk post beat band from London, England. The band was formed by guitarist Peter Wooding and drummer Lewis Richardson in a grimy back street pub behind St Pancras station. They soon recruited shiny singer Peter Cornelius Ford and less-than-shiny bass player Matt Stuttard.
Inspired by garage rock and protopunk with lots of post and modern influences, their unique brand of music fuses hard riffing and driving rhythms with the quirk and charisma of frontman Peter Cornelius Ford and a bespoke olde London sensibility. Making short, hard and accessible guitar music that will make you shout “onwards ye fine gentlemen”. They make regular apperances at a number of classic venues and at England’s summer music festivals.
