Nightmares is the latest single by Stewart Taylor which represents a fascinating change in his music writing, demonstrating another side of the artist that is more probing and vulnerable. Contrastingly, “Nightmares” creates an autobiographical experience of fighting insomnia and battling inner demons in his previous songs.
Taylor’s poignant lyrics are skillfully underscored with a polished production creating a professional backdrop for it. With its instantly memorable chorus, and catchy melody line for one listen to the track, and you will be whistling it throughout the day. Stewart Taylor has one of the best pop voices we’ve ever heard and his vocals are always captivating.
The vocal performance of Taylor on Nightmares presents an impressive range and emotive depth. His rendition has a genuine quality that brings everyone into him with its look at love and longing. Through subtle songwriting, which reflects real life human wants but captures well our longing for connectedness & comfort, Taylor beautifully sketches some sort of moving image about life’s most important thing: to find love or even peace again…..
Accompanied by a visually evocative music video directed by Benjamin Farren, “Nightmares” immerses viewers in the protagonist’s world of longing and desire. Overall, Stewart Taylor’s new single stands as a testament to his versatility and artistry, delivering a genuine and evocative musical experience that resonates deeply with listeners.
