ABOUT THE BAND:
Telling Secrets is an Emo-tinged modern rock band masterminded by a true global musician, Vik Kovacs. Kovacs – a product of Eastern European blood and British upbringing – is from Manchester, England who now lives in Los Angeles. VK is a multi-faceted musician whose musical roots are founded in technically challenging guitar solo performances branching into song writing, vocal performance and music production. Following influences such as ‘Escape the Fate’, ‘Bullet For My Valentine’ and ‘Bring Me The Horizon’, Kovacs started his project, Telling Secrets in 2021. He teamed with Rain City Drive vocalist, Matt McAndrew who guided his initial song writing, which kick started the project. Zack Baker, of Rain City Drive, performed on and mixed the visual trilogy, “Secret Lies”, “Casting Stones” and “The Fall” and continued to mix the songs released throughout 2022. Vik Kovacs recently won the Hungarian Petőfi single award ran by the Hungarian national radio station. Kovacs was a semi-finalist in the UK Songwriting Competition 2022 as well as the International Songwriting Competition 2022 with one of his unreleased songs being up for contention to be a finalist in the latter contest. Telling Secrets has been included on Amazon Music’s “Best New Bands” editorial playlist and has featured on Digital Tour Bus, HammerWorld (HU) & many more.
