Michael Vdelli And The Art Of Dysfunction are back with “You And The Blues” and it’s a blues rock gem. With raw vocals, great guitar work and the kind of chemistry that only comes from musicians who truly love playing together. Debbie M returns with “Higher” and reminds me why she became one of my favorite artists. With Moon Construction Kit delivers another dreamy and unforgettable release. With beautiful melodies, rich production and a nostalgic atmosphere that kept me hooked from start to finish. Paddy Elliott-Walker’s new single “The Barbecue Fender” immediately pulled me in with its honest songwriting, catchy vocals and beautifully simple atmosphere. Robert J. Hunter’s new single “Loser” completely caught me off guard in the best way. With warm Americana vibes, powerful songwriting and a voice that stays with you long after the chorus ends. Elif Coskun completely caught me off guard with her new single “The Hardest Part”. Beautiful vocals, emotional songwriting, and a chorus that stayed in my head long after the song ended. Klas Jonsson just became one of my favorite new artists with his EP “Versions”. Pocket Lint just released a new single called “Cyanometer” and I really loved the calm and dreamy atmosphere of this track. Soft synths, simple vocals and a sound that slowly stays in your head after it ends. Sotto James just landed on my radar with “Cold Fingers” and it immediately pulls you into a quiet and almost empty-room kind of atmosphere where everything feels soft, warm and carefully held back with his calm but heavy voice carrying honest and emotional writing.

ABOUT

Cheers To The Vikings is a result of spreading the fresh releases that need to be heard, we began as a SoundCloud account in 2016, but have since evolved into blogging, with no genre limits. We are a small team working to create content to support the independent artists who are out there struggling, and that’s what we’ve garnered a reputation for. We don’t care about trends, genres, stats or names. We value creativity and variety, things that spark our memories and emotions. To find these rare experiences we stay curious and always with open ears and eyes for the undiscovered talents.
