Los Angeles-based artist and musician Barrett Wilson, left us stuck on repeat with his outstanding song “One More Day”. The minute we heard his voice we fell in love with it and couldn’t get it out of our heads. He has one of the best and most attractive pop voices we’ve heard in months and his performance on this record is on another level. The atmosphere of this song is beautiful and the production is professional, smart and brought this song to a whole new level. The vocal melodies are very catchy and mesh perfectly with the lyrics. Barrett Wilson is a creative artist and has so much talent when it comes to singing and writing songs. We hope you love this song as much as we do!

“This song was created at my home studio and finished at John Would’s (Fiona Apple) studio Stanley Recordings as Co-producer. I wanted this to be a hopeful song, which is not an easy thing to pull off for me. Even though the lyrics take a few turns here and there, I think I was able to keep it fun, and I tried to accent the absurdity and silliness of life. I”m currently in the process of filming a music video visual for the song that involves a time-lapse sunrise.”
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Originating from the southern region of New Mexico, now Los Angeles based artist and musician Barrett Wilson paints with mixed genres to create a musical cornucopia of fiery and kaleidoscopic tunes. Barrett’s music has been described as “Burt Bacharach on Acid”. You could also call it Cowboy Jazz. With a vocal style reminiscent of Dwight Yoakam, Jeff Buckley, and quite possibly Norah Jones, Barrett also boasts a unique and gritty guitar style, blending rhythmic and syncopated fingerpicking with energetic and nuanced strumming. Barrett spent most of 2021 crafting an EP of self produced home and studio recordings with the help of producer John Would(Fiona Apple), alongside other LA based musicians to be released in July of 2022.
