“I wrote this song shortly after my Mom passed away in 2019. I thought that I would be the only one to hear it. The song I was originally was supposed to sing, I didn’t vibe with it so I ended up having to finish writing this song and singing it at my Mom’s funeral. The song is about a deceased loved one telling loved ones who are alive to go on and live their lives. In many ways, my Mom was telling me to continue living my life, which was not easy. I feel that if anyone has experienced grief or losing someone close to them this song sums it up pretty well”
