This beautiful masterpiece “Anything For You” by Hombre is one of the best songs we’ve heard recently! The minute we heard this song we fell in love with it and we couldn’t get it out of our heads! The vocal melodies are so catchy and mesh with the lyrics perfectly. This song is a piece of art and the Spanish verse adds the most perfect touch we could ever ask for! The guitars are so beautiful and the production is very professional. The atmosphere of this song is unique and there is a great level of songwriting that shines up through this record. This song is a great experience from start to finish! We hope you love it as much as we do!
WHAT THE BAND SAYS ABOUT THIS SONG:
“I began writing the acoustic guitar part in my childhood bedroom over Christmas break after my girlfriend cheated on and dumped me. When I got back to LA I had my bandmate Justin over to flush out the first verse and chorus, it was then we decided the song needed Spanish. My father is from Venezuela and “Hombre” was his nickname for me. I wrote the second verse for him. To promote this song I rented a camera, hired a director, a DP and drove everyone out to Red Rock where we shot a music video.” Nick Cabot Rodriguez.
ABOUT THE BAND:
LA-based Hombre — formed during the Covid-19 pandemic — brought together and at times infected Nick Cabot Rodriguez (vocals, guitar), Justin Carbonari of Smoothie (guitar, bass, vocals), Christopher Hines of Emperor Slow (guitar, synth) and Amitai Porat (drums, keys). The quartet’s debut single “Regular Guy” was recorded and produced by Chris at his home studio nestled in the Hollywood Hills and mastered by Michael Lipp of OYLS. The artwork was shot by Seth Meriwether.
