Canadian pop artist Elena shared with us her gorgeous song “Build a Ship” and we are so excited to write about it. The story begins during a one-night stand, where Elena wakes up realizing the guy isn’t that into her and after multiple attempts of trying to interest him, she decides she’s going to build a ship and sail away. The minute we heard this song we couldn’t get it out of our heads! The melodies are beautiful and mesh with the lyrics perfectly, and the chorus is very catchy. Elena has one of the purest voices we’ve ever heard and her vocal performance is on another level that shows how talented she is. Her lyrics are original and beautifully written and the production work is simple and beautiful. The atmosphere of this song is wonderful, and the acoustic guitar adds the most perfect touch we could ever ask for! Such a nice experience!
