“Woodland” is the bonus track off Tanya George’s brand new EP “Normality”. Even though we’ve listened to this song dozens of times we still can’t find the right words to describe how amazing it is. The minute we heard this song we got hooked on it and we couldn’t get it out of our heads. Tanya George has one of the most beautiful pop voices we’ve heard in months and her vocal performance is more than professional…it’s on another level. Tanya’s charming voice and the clever production of this song are perfectly complementary and making the melody sparkle. The lyrics are original, well written and mesh with the melody perfectly, and the chorus is incredibly catchy. “Woodland” is a unique song with a great vibe and it was a nice experience for us! We hope you love it as much as we do!
WHAT THE ARTIST SAYS ABOUT THIS SONG:
The brand new bonus track, “Woodland” came from an inspiring memory at a Womadelaide festival.
“The stage I was singing on with another act was at the bottom of a hill. There where trees toward the top of the hill. It was so cool to watch people running down the hill, winding through the trees to get to the stage. Like a magnets running towards the music. I love the atmosphere at festivals. The feeling of grabbing your friends and following each other into the world of music at your favourite festival.”
