“Breathe” is an uplifting new single by British singer-songwriter and producer HEIGHTS. The self-produced “Breathe” is the centrepiece of her new five song collection, and comes accompanied by a cinematic video shot by director Oliver Chapman, which shows HEIGHTS against sprawling landscapes as she escapes societal norms in search of respite and freedom. The first 90 seconds of this song will be enough to have you hooked! Once we heard the chorus we couldn’t get it out of our heads. The vocal melodies are very very catchy and mesh with the lyrics perfectly. HEIGHTS has one of the best pop voices we’ve ever heard and this amazing record shows off all the melodic tones of her stunning voice. HEIGHTS has a great and obvious talent when it comes to producing, singing and songwriting. This song left us very excited to see where HEIGHTS’ will go over the next months! She is very original and could be a new legend of her generation!
WHAT THE ARTIST SAYS ABOUT THIS SONG:
“‘Breathe’ was always about disillusionment and the pressure that comes with trying to fit into society and the paths it lays out for us,” she says. “I wrote this song a while ago but it’s very interesting how it’s manifested into a whole bigger meaning with the state of the world now.”
