UK-singer and songwriter Roma Rose, shared with us a very emotional and touching song titled, “How to Feel”. This new single is one of those rare songs that just capture your soul and leave you stuck on repeat for a long long time. We are not sure if we could find the right words to describe the charm of this record. The lyrics are very honest and Roma’s voice is a piece of heaven. She has one of the most charming voices you could ever hear and this song shows off all of the melodic tones of her stunning voice. This masterpiece draws a new emotion with every listens, and the piano tones adding the most perfect touch we could ever ask for.
WHAT THE ARTIST SAYS ABOUT THIS SONG:
“How To Feel is a response to life changing moments that make us feel young, childlike and bereft of all the answers. When I brought my newborn home, I had this overwhelming feeling that I shouldn’t have been allowed to leave the hospital. I shouldn’t be allowed this responsibility, I don’t know what I’m doing. How the hell am I supposed to look after this little life, when I am broken.”
“Described as a “comforting anguish” – this song explores the universal feeling of anxiety when life overtakes you, and the strange solace of knowing so many feel the same, when faced with life’s big moments.”
“Love comes hand in hand with fear.”
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Scotland’s Roma Rose returns with a new name, new sound and brand new perspective. During her break from music, Roma had her first child. This experience, coupled with a particularly long and grueling recovery, instilled in her a drive and determination to create again and a desire to be open about motherhood.
Her first two tracks – “In My Head” and “How to Feel” – have been championed across multiple online publications and playlists, as well as gaining support from BBC Introducing and Charlie Ashcroft’s Fresh Finds.
Co-written and produced by Jessica Sharman (Ward Thomas/Hannah Grace/Gabrielle Aplin) and mixed by Isabel Gracefield (Tom Walker/Christine and The Queens) – this is music created by women about a uniquely female experience. But it also simultaneously explores the genderless, universal journey of growing up and reconciling who you were before with who you are now.
Her third single – “Stay Like This” – comes out on November 27th.
