British actress, singer/songwriter and pianist Eliza Bennett is taking a break from your TV screens to deliver a powerful punch with her 2020 single ‘Do You Think About Me’. Inspired by Lana Del Rey, King Princess and James Blake her soulful vocals, windswept strings and atmospheric production lead the way for three back to back singles to end 2020.
Eliza is known for her large bulk of work as an actor, from studio films like ‘Nanny McPhee’ with Emma Thompson and Colin Firth & ‘Inkheart’ with Helen Mirren & Jim Broadbent to starring in the critically acclaimed TV show ‘Sweet/Vicious’ and most recently ABC’s ‘The Conners’ alongside John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf. Whilst shooting Inkheart, Eliza was asked to sing the soundtrack of the movie and recorded ‘My Declaration’ by Tom Baxter at Abbey Studios as her first taste of studio life. Eliza landed on American soil in 2016 whilst shooting ‘Sweet/Vicious’ and has never left. With Los Angeles as her new home, songwriting really took flame and Eliza started mixing in the music world and playing locally at Hollywood’s famous ‘Hotel Cafe’.
Now, after 6 months in the studio with Australian music writer/producer Thom Macken (Vera Blue, Tori Kelly), Eliza is paving her way as an artist, releasing three powerful singles back to back.
