“Can’t Stop Thinking” by the Iranian–American singer-songwriter SOHEILL, is sort of the unraveling that happens when you fall for a toxic person. You know it’s wrong, but you can’t help yourself. It’s moody, edgy, sexy and fierce. SOHEILL has a unique talent when it comes to songwriting and singing! His vocal performance is catchy and more than professional and his lyrics are original and honest. We have enjoyed listening carefully to this track until the last second, many times and without getting tired or bored at all. SOHEILL is definitely a name we should remember because his music will always surprise and hook us.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
SOHEILL is an Iranian–American singer-songwriter from Fresno CA with emotionally charged performances set to an indie rock landscape. After spending most his life in California, he set off on an adventure to Nashville where he released his 2018 EP, “Somewhere Between Love & War” with his producer Sam Kassirer @davidramirez @deathcabforcutie @joshritter.
“I came to Nashville to start over. You’ll hear bits of that on my EP, Somewhere Between Love & War. I think I just got burnt out on Los Angeles and needed a fresh start in a more relaxed environment where I could create more comfortably. I’m always up for new adventures, and I believe the experiences we make for ourselves are what create some of the best stories.”
Growing up, SOHEILL was inspired by 80’s and 90’s rock bands, such as Radiohead, Soundgarden, Jeff Buckley, Depeche Mode and The Cure. “I’ve always been into so many different types of genres, but I really love dreamy guitars and synths. And when I perform, I just want to rock out.”
SOHEILL has since teamed up with other talented producers + engineers in Nashville and is set to release more music in 2020.
