This beautiful masterpiece, “Into the Wild,” by the Canadian Singer-Songwriter, Henry Nozuka is going to be on repeat for a long long time! This song is Henry Nozuka’s first single off of his upcoming debut album, “Ember of the Night”. Henry will take you on a wonderful indie orchestral folk-like journey that depicts a serene search for meaning in life. We are not even sure if we could find the right words to describe the charm of this song. Nozuka’s voice is one of the purest and greatest voices we have ever heard! The minute we heard this song we fell in love with Henry’s voice and his professional and haunting vocal performance. He has an amazing talent when it comes to writing songs, there is a great level of songwriting that shines up through this record. His lyrics are deep and very emotional. The melodies are so catchy and the production work is polished. The overall texture of this recording feels as if it was a lost gem from the ’70s. “Into the Wild” by Henry Nozuka was a beautiful and unique experience for our team and we are very excited to see where his career will go within the next few months.
WHAT THE ARTIST SAYS ABOUT THIS SONG:
“Into the Wild is a search for meaning in life. I wrote this song after reading an imaginative children’s story to my nephew Theo. I wanted to bring the listener into a surreal world, and also reflect upon the nature and journey of my life experience. I was highly influenced by the music of Nick Drake and José González. Musically I wanted to create a minimal arrangement, and portray a mood that is intimate and serene. I wanted to depict the feeling which I get when I listen to Nick Drake’s Pink Moon. Which to me feels like you’re in the room with Nick. I feel that the artwork by Vinyl Cry represents the themes of this song very well in a surreal and suggestive way. Simplicity, a deep sense of peace, and a quest for eternal love.”
