WHAT THE BAND SAYS ABOUT THIS SONG:
“‘Here We Are Alone’ offers a thread of optimism for those feeling isolated and alone. A rallying cry reminding everyone that we’re all in this together, and a plea for a more inclusive future. Even in moments of isolation or despondency, remember that the world is full of kind-hearted souls eager to connect and overcome. Together we are stronger.”
ABOUT THE BAND:
Iduna makes alternative rock music that wrestles with the question of what it is to be and who we should be to each other. Building on the sounds of The Smashing Pumpkins, Matthew Good Band, Biffy Clyro, and Kings of Leon with a political tinge, their songs are replete with questions about modern morality and the state of being an empathetic person in a world complicit with injustice.
Through dual melodies produced by vocalists/guitarists Jason Craig and Trison Boyes, overlaid upon the raw and wild grooves of bassist Tim Saulnier and drummer Gabriel Lavoie, Iduna explores the harmony found in our struggles and kinship. Music offers both respite and exploration of these challenges, and Iduna aims to share that experience with whoever will join them.
