The Canadian Rock band Howlin’ Circus released their debut music video for their anthemic and defiant title track “Run The Wrong Way”, it’s a powerful and enjoyable song, upon hearing it for the first time we knew it is something special. Their lyrics are original and catchy, and their vocals are rich and powerful. The energy in this track is real and we really love what Howlin’ Circus has delivered today and we can’t wait to see what next from them.
WHAT THE BAND SAYS ABOUT THIS SONG:
Lead singer Jafar Sandouk said: “It’s what living in 2020 feels like. The world is on fire, literally, and nuclear apocalypse is just a Tweet away. We’re powerless in so many ways and Run The Wrong Way is a defiant call to reclaim some of the things we can control.”
“We set out to make something that’s true to us, and I think we captured it on the album. Making the music video was a sweet way to round off the work we put in over the past year and it was great fun to collaborate with some very talented Toronto artists.”
ABOUT THE BAND:
Howlin’ Circus put passion and vulnerability at the heart of their rock and roll. Performances at UK festivals and across North America have wowed audiences, with the songs serving to remind us of what brings us together. All it takes is a spark to set our souls on fire and Howlin’ Circus have been coming to shows with plenty of lighter fluid. Shortly after the legalization of cannabis in Canada, the band became part of local folklore, handing out hundreds of pre-rolled joints at a concert, becoming the first to do so. The band has made TV and radio appearances, including a possibly drug-fuelled destruction of the drum kit during a live daytime television show. Who said rock and roll is dead?
