The singer-songwriter David Dixon shares his first single “Back and Forth” off of his upcoming 5-song EP. ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Wilmington, NC-based songwriter, David Dixon has been staying busy in recent months. He was a finalist for the NC Artist Fellowship Award (NC Arts Council). He also opened for singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips (American Idol winner) in September at Wilmington’s Greenfield Lake Amphitheater to a sold-out crowd. Dixon studied guitar performance and songwriting at the acclaimed Berklee College of Music in Boston. His musical styles consist of pop, rock, r&b and soul, truly something for everyone. Think John Mayer meets Derek Trucks, with some Ed Sheeran sprinkled on top. Dixon is currently working on a new EP of original songs and recently released the first single, “Back and Forth”. Dixon regularly performs at music festivals, songwriting showcases & house concerts He has performed at the NC Seafood Festival in Morehead City, the Beaufort Music Festival, and the Wilmington Wine & Food Festival. Dixon has also performed for the US Military in South Korea twice, and in the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, and all over the United States.
