This Norwegian band made my evening with their latest release and I’m super excited to write about it. Electric High’s new single “Siren’s Lullaby” is an amazing rock experience from beginning to end. The instrumentation of the track builds up step by step with great attention to detail. Raw energy shines from the electric guitars, the bass is powerful and the drums are relentless in driving the song forward. The band’s two lead vocalists add an extra dimension, moving seamlessly between moody verses and soaring choruses.
The song has a tense, almost claustrophobic atmosphere. However, the chorus takes a moment of breath before returning to the song’s gripping pulse. The lyrics are about lost dreams in the momentary distractions of life and they are accepted without regret. “Siren’s Lullaby” is a powerful and enjoyable track with its creative production, dynamic shifts, and surreal, psychedelic music video. Electric High’s passion is evident and this song shows that they have no equal when it comes to energy.
