Hyporadar – Frankie & Estelle

This new release made my morning and I enjoyed every second of it. Hyporadar’s new EP “Frankie & Estelle” is a captivating and refreshing record that highlights his creativity and storytelling. Inspired by the book Hey Cabbie by Thaddeus Logan, the EP paints vivid musical scenes, especially in tracks like “Frankie Sullivan”, “Estelle” and “Hey Cabbie”. From my first listen, I knew this record was something different. The artist has a rich voice and his catchy melodies and rhythms create a distinct and engaging sound, a sound you’ll never find anywhere else.

What is mind-blowing is that this high quality and well polished EP was recorded entirely in his basement, impressive right? Hyporadar’s dedication to this project is shown through layering instrumentals day by day to reach his vision. The EP’s unique low rock style is driven by his passion for the bass guitar, which is infused with blues, grunge and classic influences. He comes from a town with no music scene but his talent is obvious.

This record is varied, different, and easy to listen to. I think it’s safe to say that this EP is one of the best releases we’ve discovered this year. The production is creative and the performance is always catchy and fun. Hyporadar masters his craft perfectly and his music deserves much more attention.
