Trappist Afterland – Walk to Paradise Garden

I didn’t know what to expect from Trappist Afterland’s new album “Walk to Paradise Garden”, but it blew me away. From the first few seconds, I knew I had to write about it. The album is a hauntingly beautiful journey through the depths of human emotion and experience. This artist’s unique sound caught my attention and his new album exceeded my expectations. The album quickly dips you into its intimate storytelling supported by acoustic instrumentals and beautiful, quiet, moody melodies.

Each of the nine tracks feels timeless, not of a time, but of a place, a deeply personal world. His songwriting is raw and vulnerable, written amidst the upheavals of life, grief, love, and growth. His evocative vocals and poignant lyrics are allowed to take center stage, as the production remains simple.

The haunting melodies and Cole’s unforgettable voice captivated me. This album is like a bittersweet embrace, a reminder to hold on to those fleeting moments and find beauty in the hardships of life. I am now a new fan of this artist and can’t wait to see where he goes next. You will be inspired and reflective when you spin this album on repeat.
