The Marsh Family – Universal Child

The Marsh Family has done it again with their heartfelt cover of “Universal Child” originally written by Annie Lennox for her 2010 album “A Christmas Cornucopia”. This family band is known for their incredible chemistry and warm harmonies, and their unique touch on the song is a perfect fit for the holiday season.

It’s more than a cover, it’s an emotional journey. The vocals are both male and female, and they are captivating and touching, breathing new life into the poignant lyrics. The instrumentation is rich and beautifully crafted, perfectly complementing the heartfelt message of the song. Ella (15) and Tess (12) close the song with a powerful punch of emotion that sticks with you long after the song ends. This is the kind of music you’ll want to keep on repeat.

This release is even more special because of its purpose. Save the Children has partnered with the Marsh Family to raise funds for vulnerable children around the world. The accompanying video to the single, shot in a beautifully lit barn, gives the campaign a warm and festive visual touch. Donations are being collected through their JustGiving page, with an initial goal of £1,500.

This cover is a masterpiece and I really love it. It’s warm and moving and perfect for December. I am truly impressed with The Marsh Family’s talent and passion and every note and lyric touched my heart. This band never fails to deliver and “Universal Child” is another shining example of their ability to create music that resonates deeply.
