This creative and professional band just landed on my radar this week with their debut album which is a perfect blend of the classic rock sound with a spirit of legends such as Nirvana and Pixies but with a unique sound. This album contains 12 tracks and it is a perfect example of how well Joe Penna (vocals/guitar), Scotty Imp (drums/percussion) and Kevin Harris (bass/vocals) work together. Their sound is what every rock playlist needs and it’s masterfully polished thanks to the producer who did an amazing job here.
Every song is full of energy, creativity and haunting melodies that play in one’s head for hours after the music is turned off. The instrumentation is very well done with powerful vocals, memorable guitars and amazing drums that give the songs a classic rock feel with a modern twist. The album isn’t just a collection of songs, it’s an experience best enjoyed as a whole so it was hard for me to pick a favorite track this time.
For me, this album was a punch in the face as a fan of rock music. It made me feel like I was back in the ‘90s but at the same time it was fresh. This band is professional and talented, their creativity and dedication are evident in every track, and I am looking forward to seeing more of them. This debut album isn’t just a start, it’s a statement. If you are a fan of raw, boundary-pushing rock music, then this album is for you.
