The title song, “Big Colored Lights” stands out with its warm instrumentation and heartfelt songwriting, and the closer “New Year’s Too” offers a soul-stirring close with Lizzie Edwards’ harmonies.
Backed by an incredible live band, including her husband Brendan Curley on guitar, the EP feels very genuine and cozy. From gentle ballads to lively melodies, the production is smart, polished and perfectly complements Curley’s captivating voice. I really enjoyed this EP, it’s honest and full of emotions. This record is sure to become a holiday favorite because of its timeless appeal. I will definitely be playing it on a loop this season!
