Hotel Mira’s new EP “I Am Not Much Help” is a burst of raw energy and emotion, making it an amazing choice for late-night drives or moments when you just want to feel alive. This Canadian band has truly outdone themselves with this release delivering a unique sound that’s both polished and powerful. The production is solid with every track showcasing great mixing and mastering that allows the richness of the vocals and the strength of the instrumentals to shine through.
The four tracks “Oh, Sunshine,” “Verona,” “Waste Away,” and “The View From the Barstool” each bring something special to the table. The guitars are energetic, the drums hit hard and the bass lines are simply captivating. Lyrically, the EP is honest and powerful with melodies that are easy to get stuck in your head. It was super hard for me to pick a favorite track here, but after a few listens I decided to go with “The View From the Barstool” thanks to its powerful chorus and beautifully crafted melodies.
Overall,” I Am Not Much Help” is an amazing release that showcases Hotel Mira’s impressive talent and leaves you eagerly anticipating their next move. This EP will definitely be on repeat for days to come!
