Good evening! Baby Said’s new EP “Who Gives A Rock” completely blew me away from the very first track. I’ve had it on repeat and I can confidently say it’s one of the best records to drop in the last few months. Sadly, it’s only four tracks because if this is what they’re capable of, I can’t wait for a full album!
Their sound is modern and powerful capturing the true spirit of rock music. Each song has this infectious energy that just pulls you in. The instrumentals are high energy and the production feels polished and professional. The vocals pack a punch with choruses that are so catchy you’ll find yourself humming them long after the music stops. If I had to pick a favorite, it would definitely be “Panic Attack”, it just stands out with its vibrant energy.
These Portsmouth-based girls, Veronica and Jess Pal, along with Holly Knowles and Maddie Hackett—make a formidable team. Their attention to detail shows in every note and you can really feel their passion. Honestly, I’m super excited to see what they come up with next. If this EP is any indication, their future releases are bound to be just as incredible!
