Monrad – The Game

Monrad the solo project of Matthew Ramon has delivered a standout single with “The Game” a track that has quickly become one of my favorites this week. The song is a beautifully crafted rock piece that captivates from start to finish. The instrumental is steady and meticulously put together and the production, though simple, exudes creativity and flair.

Monrad has a rich voice and his vocal performance is professional and makes the song a unique experience. The melodies are beautifully catchy and the lyrics are original and meaningful exploring themes of social conformity and the quest for stability in life. As Monrad puts it, “‘The Game’ talks about that point in life when you start accepting you are part of that everydayness, part of social conformity. We somehow wanted it, we longed for it, we are part of the game now. Own it.”

This song is not just a testament to Monrad’s talent but also a promising indicator of the surprises he has in store for us in the future. I found myself hitting the replay button multiple times. There’s something incredibly refreshing about Monrad’s music, it’s raw, honest and hits all the right notes. “The Game” deserves a spot on any rock playlist and is a must-listen for fans of the genre.
