Mothman and The Thunderbirds have done it again with their new single “So Long (Portal Hopper)” This track is the second release from their upcoming concept album Portal Hopper. Described as “dream metal” their music is an adventurous blend of pop, rock and dreamy psychedelia that keeps listeners hooked.
This new single is a wild ride from start to finish. The energy is off the charts and the production is top-notch. The guitars and drums are just phenomenal creating a powerful dynamic sound that pairs perfectly with the vocals. Speaking of which the vocals are both powerful and easy to listen to and the melody is so catchy it’ll be stuck in your head for days. The guitar solo is amazing and add the most perfect touch we could ever ask for. The lyrics are beautifully written and the synths add an amazing layer of depth to the track.
Mothman and The Thunderbirds, based out of Philly continue to explore cryptids and curiosities through their music. “So Long (Portal Hopper)” is a bizarre yet incredibly catchy track that showcases their talent and creativity.
