Australian singer-songwriter, Hayley Warner had hopes of becoming a professional athlete as a child, until being diagnosed with a rare disease and told she’d never walk again. She defied the odds when a secondhand drum set became her means of physical therapy and helped her to gain movement back in her legs. She not only began learning to walk again, but propelled into the start of her musical career, picking up guitar + piano and learning to write. She has since released her debut single, “Closure”, which has independently amassed upward of 12 Million streams, finding it’s way to Spotify’s “Viral Hits” and “Life Sucks”, as well as gaining the attention of a number of fellow artists. She has recently released her follow up single “You Were Once” and will continue to release new music in 2023. She will also be playing SXSW in March amongst a few other yet-to-be-released shows.
