ABOUT THE ARTIST:
OCTAVIO is a self-starter. As a young man determined to follow his passions, Octavio would stop at nothing to achieve his dreams. When he didn’t have money in middle school, he would sell his Pokemon drawings in order to buy lunch and when he couldn’t buy the newest kicks that were trending, he set out to find a way. Being a native Spanish speaker (born in Monterrey, Mexico) and the entrepreneur that he is, Octavio charged his classmates to do their Spanish homework so he could buy himself the newest pair of Vans. But most luckily for us, when Octavio decided that he wanted to pursue music, he did just that. He would bus tables during the week to pay for gas money and he would skip school every Thursday to drive down to Nashville (from Knoxville) to record his tracks. Fun fact– he almost didn’t graduate because he skipped his math final for a Post Malone concert.
