Born outside of Philadelphia, Marigold Ingot has been writing songs since a young age. Growing up on a steady diet of everything from musical theater to classic rock and blues, both her childhood and more recent experiences have influenced her musical style and creativity. She has lived on three continents, in six countries including the USA, and recently returned to her hometown of Philadelphia.
